Esta mañana por fin salían desde Murcia dirección Berlín, las tres obras con las que voy a participar en algo muy muy especial. Una Exposición colectiva de collages en La Lemo Art Gallery de Berlín, a nivel internacional." Mash up my Thought" by Collage 100 show. Del 24 de septiembre al 7 de octubre. " Discopatía" , tres obras de esta colección viajarán a Berlín ( Alemania), esta semana para formar parte de una exposición colectiva de collage internacional " Collage 100"
“Discopatía” is a collection about
musical concepts that combines pieces of vinyl records, painting, collage and a
great deal of imagination. Then ameis a play on words between the
intervertebral disc and the vinyl record. Our vertebral column holds our body,
and musicis understood as thesupport of our lives, therefore, musicis our
vertebral column. “Discopatía” is anillness that we suffer when we can not stop
listening to a record or become obsessed with a song. The records be come
eroded, just as the intervertebral discs, and they can even break. The artist
uses collage, acrylic and magazine cuttings from the 60s and 70s together with
sense of humor, criticism, and of symbolism. In these works, the broken pieces
of records represent the ideas and feelings that those songs inspired and that
bécame the soundtrack and the support of our lives.

About me and my work/ Lemoart Gallery Berlín/ 2016
Miriam Martínez
Abellán (Murcia,Spain, 1978), graduate in Art History by the University of
Murcia, and Piano, by the Conservatory of Music of the same city, is currently
living in Murcia and working as a music teacher and creative artist specialized
in conceptual collage.
Her creative work is known as collagexmiriam. The artist uses collage as a means to approach the
feminine world and to express social criticism through different topics. Her
technique is a mixture of collage, acrylic, vintage magazines cuttings, old
objects, etc. Her style is lively and delicate;
her universe personal and genuine. In this technique she found her true
artistic expression. She has a long exhibition history.
